“GF Costruzioni Macchine Agricole was born from an idea of the Tosti family at the end of the 90s, drawing inspiration from the strong need for mechanization of the hazel in the province of Viterbo. The company is very competitive on the Italian market and is also establishing itself on the international market, thanks to the collaboration with Besana International and Ferrero farming HCO. We produce machines and equipment for agriculture based on the needs of our customers “. This is how Alessandro Fusco – Sales and Marketing Manager – of GF Costruzioni Macchine Agricole in Freshplaza reports.
“Our core business is represented by the harvesting machines for nuts, a sector in which we are at the forefront on all fronts. Italy and Chile constitute the main markets of the company, both counting 50% on turnover. We are present globally and in the areas where a lot of nuts are produced such as: Oregon, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. New interesting markets are Northern Europe and the Slavic countries “.
“From the idea of departure to the present, the range of operating and self-propelled machines has increased, which include various types of harvesters and suitable for different crops; we also produce flail mowers, dryers, windrowers, trolleys and conveyor belts. eyelet remains the gatherers “.
“Our harvesting machines carry out mechanical harvesting directly on the ground, exploiting only 15 horsepower, limiting fuel consumption; furthermore, these machines are ecological, do not generate fine dust and the final product is clean, unlike the old ones suction machines “.
“The Jolly is a harvesting machine with a working capacity of 1 to 20 hectares depending on the model and with an hourly capacity of 2 hectares per hour; the 1908 and 2008 models are the ones that have been most successful in Italy”.
“The self-propelled vehicles we are most proud of are the SuperJolly and the 4×4 Multifunction which are suitable for extensions that count from 20 hectares on. It is true that the cost is high, but they have a working capacity of 30 quintals per day. very fast and they adapt well even to narrower sixths “.
“Our harvesters also have another advantage: they lower labor costs because there is no need for the operator to pass through with the blower and also allow collection on both wet and grassy ground. We are studying a self-propelled harvester with dimensions reduced with a lower cost and that meets the needs of the medium and small producers, bringing maximum comfort to them “.
“So far our sales philosophy has been focused on the direct relationship with the agricultural entrepreneur, but we are open to e-commerce and we believe that the sector’s web marketing has had an incisive impact on company growth. For the future, we aim to a 4.0 mechanization to improve our range and to be always more advanced in this sector “.
